Meditation can be used as a very effective stress management tool.

It can assist with:-

Emotional management, raising serotonin levels (the happy hormone), lowering cortisol (the stress hormone), pain management, lowering physical problems i.e. blood pressure, physical tension.  It can help with the prevention of the “freight or flight” response, which then helps us to manage our stress levels.

Meditation can be obtained by using breathing techniques, visualisation, mindfulness and many other methods.  I can encourage you to discover these and find the techniques that you will suit you as an individual.  When unnecessary expectations are taken away from the process of Meditation, it can open up many possibilities to become calm, positive and balanced.

Meditation is a very gentle process and can be a wonderful own resource to help manage stress in your life as well as creating a very calm and peaceful space to connect with your own Wisdom.
